Assam direct recruitment eligibility criteria :
The category-wise eligibility criteria are mentioned below.
Grade-IV (Class-IV)
Qualification :-
Read upto Class 8th : 9,000
HSLC or equivalent passed : 4,300
Maximum Qualification: The maximum permissible educational qualification for Class IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having more than the maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancies.
Grade III : (Category I):-
Name of the Posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.
Number of Posts: 8,331 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration.
Grade III: (Category II):-
Name of the Posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Jr., Agricultural Extension Officer, etc.
No. of Posts: 3,690 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination. (For some specific posts, candidates need to have passed 12th class from Science stream.)
Grade III: (Category-III):-
Post Name: Driver
No. of Posts: 1,120 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
Age Limit: Candidate age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.
Age Relaxation: Category wise upper age relaxation is given below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
- PWD: 10 Years
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
